Learn from a Professional Guitar Teacher in Cramlington

I’m Brian Anderson, the owner and sole teacher at Brian’s Guitar Studio. With over 30 years of playing and teaching experience, I have worked with students of all ages and abilities across the Northumberland area.

I am also a registered member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT), a recognised professional body that supports high standards in music education across the UK.

Alongside teaching, I actively perform in bands, bringing real-world musical experience into every lesson. This means you are learning from someone who not only teaches guitar but lives and plays music regularly.

A Different Approach to Learning Guitar

Not everyone learns the same way, which is why my lessons are tailored to each individual student.

Instead of focusing heavily on theory from the start, I use a song-first approach, helping you play music you enjoy as early as possible. This keeps lessons engaging and builds confidence quickly.
With my private guitar lessons in Cramlington, you can expect:

  • One-to-one personalised tuition
  • Lessons adapted to your pace and goals
  • A relaxed and friendly environment
  • Support for beginners through to more advanced players
  • Guidance across multiple genres including rock, pop, blues, jazz, and folk

A Fully Equipped Guitar Studio

Lessons take place in my dedicated studio at:

1C Church Street, Cramlington, NE23 6QQ

The studio is fully equipped with guitars, amplifiers, and learning materials, so you do not need to bring your own instrument to get started.
This setup allows you to focus entirely on learning, without any barriers or added costs.

Brian is a great guitar tutor, easy to get on with & very patient. He makes the lessons very interesting & enjoyable. As a beginner, only a few weeks ago, I struggled but Brian made me feel at ease. I should of done this years ago. Thanks Brian.
